Atmospheres

A collection of environments for thought

Have you ever thought about where thoughts happen to be created?Β

Most of us would imagine a huge unattachable void, somewhere in the mind. And they happen to be in places like a desk near a window. In a quiet library where footsteps soften. In a chair under a lamp while the world outside gradually slows into evening.

Certain places can highly influence the way the mind behaves.

“Atmospheres” explore the environments where reading deepens and the mind startsΒ  developing new patterns.

β€œHome sweet home”. The day has already happened and the conversations have finished. The outside world has lost its urgency, and every obligation is now less relevant. You enter a quiet space that feels detached from everything you dealt with during the day. You enter a continuation-of-thought kind of state.

The Library

Have you noticed how the moment you enter a real library, your footsteps soften… Even if nobody is watching, you lower your voice instinctively. Conversations happen through whispers and the pages turn with the quiet patience of people who know they are not alone in thinking. Libraries have the power

The Quiet Desk

Some rooms invite distraction. Others seem to gently soothe the mind to slow down. A desk near a window. A small lamp illuminating a page. Books stacked within reach, not arranged for decoration but because they are returning companions. The outside world continues its usual rhythm beyond the glass. Cars
